Publishers: Revise your products when D&D3.1E comes out?

To those publishers out there: Are you intending to revise your products when D&D3.1E comes out later this year? Will it all depend if WotC revises the SRD or will you go ahead anyway? (If you intend to in the first place)

Didn't someone at WotC flat out say they will be revising the SRD at the time of release?

Regardless, there is little in my products to revise, as far as I can tell. We aren't looking at any earth-shattering or paradigm-changing changes to the game from what has been said.

I can't speak for what the publishers plan to do, but I do know that WotC has already stated that they will include the new material in the SRD.

My guess--and this is purely from a freelance writer's perspective, mind you--is that it's not going to be worth the effort to update most products, since the new rules are supposed to be completely backwards compatible. The truth is, not many people would be willing to repurchase their entire collections when there's simply not going to be any real need to do so.

I'd guess that, at most, some of the primary "core" D20 books, major capaign settings and the like, might be tweaked, but only those that had further print runs planned anyway. For 99.4% of the products, I'd imagine they'll just use the new rules for new stuff and leave the old stuff as is.

Again, just my take on things, of course.

I don't realy see the point, in most cases, of revising the older 3rd-party products. The new material, which must be included in the SRD to be considered as usable, is exactly that: NEW. While a few books might revise themselves to add this extra material to thier feat and spell lists, most of it will rpobably fall into the "too much hassle" category. In addition to this, much of the top-selling PDF files focus on material that is not really affected by the inclusion of the splat-book additions (c'mon, what else do you think they would put in?): psionics suppliments, books of extras for magic users, ect.

BTW, anybody know, or can direct me to, a complete list of WHAT is being included? SO far all Ive gotten is vague hints about "material from other WotC books". SO far it seems like they are going to be puting in the "well, duh" stuff from the splat-books, such as Eschew Materials and other must-have-for-flavor feats, but no hard data.
