Publishers, what are your big hitters for Gen Con?

Of course now that I finally have the PDF of Beyond Monks, someone is making a print copy. I'll be getting it anyways, I prefer having a book I can look at anytime and not need a computer to read.:D

Thanks for your purchase! The PDF purchases have made the upcoming revised and expanded print version possible. Hopefully you'll get enough use from the PDF between now and July to help you justify the purchase.

I like PDFs, and we plan to keep releasing products and PDFs on RPG Now first, well in advance of any print releases. After all, it is SO much quicker and economical to release a PDF than a printed book, and the great folks at RPG Now make it easy.

However, I have to agree with your sentiment. I love reading a real book, and during a game the utility of a printed book is great. We're excited to see Beyond Monks - The Art of the Fight come into print.

Goodman Games has been great to work with, by the way, and we're happy that they are helping us bring this product to new markets.

Ah, Beyond Monks finally gets the recognition that it deserves.

*blush*

Just to get mentioned in the same post as Blackmoor, that's amazing to me. After all, it's the first setting I ever gamed in, and I can't wait for that book.

This will be my first GenCon in about 20 years, and Kerrick's first one. We're not sure what we're going to bring besides ourselves, good humor, and maybe a 5th of whiskey.

I'd like to say we're going to have a tonne of new stuff, but it depends on what secret broody stuff get's done.

I look forward to meeting you all in person though!

Just remember Heather's advice: "Keep your hands away from his face while he's eating, and you'll be fine!"

We're working on a way to let PDF purchasers credit the cost of the PDF toward their purchase of the print version. That way it's like getting an "upgrade to print." James and I will post more details once it's worked out (should be about a month or so).

Great news! I was pretty sure I was going to purchase it anyway, but this makes it a lock :D Thanks guys, I'll keep an eye out for updates.
