Publishers with Board Game experience?

I'm wondering who/how many publishers here have experience in bringing board games to market successfully. I'm hoping to find some advice - pointers on things to do, pitfalls to avoid.

I have some things I'd like to try to bring to market, but I'd rather not get burned (again).
