Pushing Daisies - anybody watch?

Man, I want to see that pilot.

I just watched it today. It was very well done and has tons of promise.

Ok I've come down a bit from the show. I liked the first half of the show and would have thought it cool if they kept the whole (not me) premise for a little longer. It just settled in a comfortable zone. I'm starting not to become a fan of the aunts.

I thought this week's episode was another winner. C'mon, singing TMBG's "Birdhouse of Your Soul," how awesome is that? I'm still happy as a clam.

On Babylon Fields, I just saw the screener. Oof. As much as I like the actors (especially the guy who played Pullo in Rome as the chief of police), the show was way too creepy to work on a network. I expected a more lighthearted tone, or something. Man, it was just incredibly bleak. There's no possible way it would have made it past the first week. CBS made the right decision, imo. There's "out of the box," and then there's "out of the dimension."
