Question about Alarm spell

How is it possible not to alert someone who cast an alarm spell before going to sleep? Can you use disable device like against magical traps?

Find the spell with Detect Magic, then Dispel it.

I would think that the Nondetection spell would also be affective against Alarm.

Ok, so far for the typical D&D answer. But could a rogue do something about it without detect magic and dispel magic?

The only thing I found was throwing a cat every 30 minutes into the area and waking the mage
