Quick question on bluff:
From the SRD:
"Feinting in Combat: The character can also use Bluff to mislead an opponent in combat so that he can't dodge the character's attack effectively. Doing so is a miscellaneous standard action that does not draw an attack of opportunity. If the character is successful, the next attack the character makes against the target does not allow him to use his Dexterity bonus to Armor Class (if any). This attack must be made on or before your next turn. Feinting in this way against a nonhumanoid is difficult because it's harder to read a strange creature's body language; the character suffers a –4 penalty. Against a creature of animal Intelligence (1 or 2) it's even harder; the character suffers a –8 penalty. Against a nonintelligent creature, it's impossible."
According to this, you can use a Bluff check to make an opponent lose his dex bonus against your next attack. My question is how this works in regards to expert tactician. If you bluff them as a standard action, and have no more attacks that round, he doesnt lose his dex bonus until the next round (assuming you attack him), and that would be when the extra melee attack from expert tactician kicked in correct? This was how I played it the other day, but one of my players said that the expert tactician should kick in on the same round as the successful bluff. I would say this would only be yes if the bluffer has an extra "haste" action that lets him attack in the same round as he does a partial action.
Did I do this correctly?
Thanks,
