I have access to a large plotter printer and was wondering if Dundjinni would be a good program to print out usable battle maps? If not, can anyone recomend some good software for printing usable battle maps?
Thanks

Dundjinni does a good job of printing tiled battle maps - that is, battle maps printed out on standard 8.5 x 11 paper that are then put together on the tabletop.
I don't believe you can change this paper size, either, so you probably won't be able to use it to print out poster-sized maps. You could, I guess, export the map to PDF or something and then enlarge it, but I have a feeling the map is going to lose a lot of its attractiveness if you really blow it up.
I did a quick review of it over at
my site, covering the highs and lows of using the program, so you might find that useful.
Campaign Cartographer, I know, is used by several people to create poster-sized maps, but it certainly takes more work and doesn't create quite as attractive maps as Dundjinni. On the other hand, CC is an overall more robust package, so it may suit your needs despite the plain style of its maps.
