Question about Efficient Quiver

The descriptions says:

"This Appears to be a typical arrow container capable of holding about 20 Arrows. It has three distinct portions, each with a nondimensional space allowing it to store far more than would normally be possible.
The first and smallest one can contain up to 60 objects of the same general size and shape as an arrow.
The second slightly longer compartment holds up to 18 objects of the same general size and shape As a javelin.
The third and longest portion of the case contains as many as 6 objects of the same general size and shape as a bow (spears, staffs, or the like).

Once the owner has filled it, the quiver can quickly produce any item she wishes that is within the quiver, as if from a regular quiver or scabbard. The efficient quiver weighs the same no matter what's placed inside it."

What does exactly " once the owner has filled it, the quiver can quickly produce any item she wishes that is within the quiver, as if from a regular quiver or scabbard. " means?

- must all 3 portions be filled for the quiver to work?
- "the quiver can quickly produce any item.." what does this mean? Do you have an endless supply of arrows?
If it the only difference is that this quiver can hold 60 arrows (and spears and javelins) instead of 20, isn´t horrible overcosted?
Surely I´m missing something here?

Once you've put something in the quiver, you can pull that item out easily.

Nope; you just have to have something in their to pull out of it.

Produce in the sense of "produce the evidence," meaning to bring it forth; not in the sense of manufacture.

So, no, you do not have an endless supply of arrows.

It allows you to store a whole bunch of ranged ammunition and launchers very easily and at no weight cost.

Remember that, "in reality," you're supposed to keep track of what arrows you actually have available to you at any given time - generally, you'll only be able to have 1 or at most 2 quivers (of 20 arrows each) in easy reach. A high-level archer can go through that pretty darn quickly, and so having three times as many arrows to-hand - as well as being able to specifically draw out the +1 dragonbane arrow right now - is useful.

Never thought of the possibility of the single/few Dragonbane Arrow(s). Nice.

Thanx for the reply!
