Question about Factotum's Cunning Strike

A factotum's cunning strike says you can spend 1 inspiration point to gain +1d6 sneak attack. Can you spend multiple points to get more sneak attack die, or just the 1?

As written, just a single die.
But since it's hardly overpowered there's really no reason not to allow it.

IMHO, the number of sneak attack dice you get for spending a single inspiration point should even go up with the Factotum level. Otherwise it's really the weakest option to spend your inspiration points on.
