D&D 5E Question about Wizards

Wizards at 2nd Level get Arcane Tradition.
Does that mean when the get their spells at 1st Level it can be from any school, then at 2nd Level on wards its must be from their school?
If how does that work with finding scrolls of another school of magic?

There is no restriction in 5e on what spells a wizard can learn. All arcane traditions do is make it easier/cheaper to get your school's spells, and make those spells more potent.

and make those spells more potent.

Or, in the case of the School of Evocation's Potent Cantrips ability, it makes Conjuration spells more potent.
