Question for Dark Quest Games

Dextra

Social Justice Wizard
With regards to your upcoming Oozes book, I was wondering if you were going to stick to straight d20, or maybe just go with OGL so we could have some alternative ooze character creation rules and advancement possibilities?

Tensen normally doesn't let me answer most of the questions because I stay drunk most of the time and tend to say the wildest things... but who cares, it's my birthday today and I'm going to anyways! *hic*

The book right now contains only d20 information for oozes but we kinda thought about a later web expansion that would allow for alternate character creation rules. The most important aspects of defining a truly heroic slime is naturally a random color chart and we are seriously leaning towards a scent chart as well...
That way it would be possible with the roll of a few dice to come up with pine scented, pale lavender-purple pudding rogue/sorcerer that you've always wanted to play!

His birthday today... see.. this explains a great many things :)

Always watch out for the dreaded Booze Ooze.
Known to be accidentally created from the sludge of too many things mixed in the batch of ale at the local tavern.

The creature is immune to most forms of attack... as it just doesn't notice them.
It tends to have an attack form called Beer Belch... that creates the effect of a stinking cloud.

LOL!
Thanks! And here all along people just thought it (my mental state) was a cross influence of 1) Being an Appalachian hillbilly, 2) Being suspected of spending time up at Marion's mental hospital, and 3) strange pollutant run offs from the local bottling plant....

I just realized something that we left out of the game rules, if the Booze Ooze (creature #37) happens to cross breed with the Broccolli and Cheese Ooze (creature #231) and Cabbage, Onion, & Cauliflower Pudding Of Dread (planned addition to web enhancement) the Beer Belch is upgraded to a death cloud

I can't wait to see the stats on the dreaded paisley slime and what it does... :D

Oh it is a fabulous monster, though I must say that the plaid pudding that you created for the book simply takes the cake!

Well. the Tiramasu Ooze is a little weak... so I guess you are right.
It does take the cake.
