Question (i.e. HELP)

Challenge time - stretch those creative processes - this one's a hard one.

Is there any way in which a creature with innate spell like abilities of arcane spells can cast those arcane spells as divine spells?

Or, simpler, is there any way to cast arcane spells AS divine OR arcane, at the characters choice?

Or, even simpler, is there a creature (ECL 2 or less) that has divine spells as spell like abilities, including at least one 2nd level spell?

Any suggestions welcome... Remember, needs to fit into a 5th level party adventure with ease, and still follow 3.5 rules.

Forgotten Realms, Dale lands region - if that helps.

I couldn't come up with anything at all.

A lot of the dragons have acces to clerical domains as part of their innate spellcasting. Never really been sure why, or whether these spells count as divine, or come out of their daily allotment or are seperate...

Anyhow, a sorcerer who is much closer to the "blood of the dragons" could possibly have something similar.

Rakshasa have 1st level clerical spells available to them instead of sorcerer spells. Or at least they could in 3.0... not sure about 3.5.

Both suggestions avoid the challenge :) A dragon doesn't fit in with a 5th level or lower party, and a Rakshasha has an ECL of at least 8 if not 14, so it doesn't either...

ECL or LA of < 3 is the challenge... You could also use feats if from official sources (but I haven't found any yet that will let this happen)

So far, the closest thing I can identify is this:

Drow at 3rd CLvl with 3 levels of Cleric. Feats: Noble Drow Heritage

The character can cast his spelllike abilities as an arcane caster of his CLvl, i.e. 3rd. Noble Drow Heritage gives him access to 2nd level spells as spell like abilities (only 2 or 3, but it counts) Three levels of cleric gives him 2nd level divine spells.

His ECL +2 makes him a 5th APL Party member.

Any better ideas? That's the best I can come up with from the offical books.
