I don't think I've ever seen a post where you're happy about something. I should lurk more.
At any rate, I wuv my subscription to death. However, I'm a DM, and that probably has something to do with it. I can't reasonably say that a year-long subscription is worth it to casual players. (shrug)
I also don;t seem to be plagued with the downtime some people are claiming *shrug*
Yeah, I am the DM here too. However, so my players can gain access to it as well. They know my name/password so if they want to use the Character Builder for instance or check something on Compendium, etc. they can (they also chipped in for the subscription cost).Yeah, if I were a player, it wouldn't be worth it. That said, if you are looking for a gift for your gm for xmas, buying a month or two of a subscription is one of the best gifts I can think of.
edit: and WotC'ers, adding a gifting option would be great.
Not worth it. I can get the same quality for free elsewhere, plus all I need to play is in the PHB and the errata to it.
We can load up something else if we want the game table, either NWN just for visuals and layouts of towns, or some VTT.
So you can get the E-Dragon and E-Dungeon magazines, the compendium updated monthly with the new releases and the compendium linked chargen for free elsewhere?
And you are admitting this on a public forum?
Edit: Seriously though, I guess that you are complaining about the Game Table, but at the moment there isn't even a Beta test of it available, everything else I listed above is awesome value.
Please let us know what you think of the current subscription items, if you would pay $5/ Month for access to them or something similar for your favourite system of choise, and if not, why? Bonus points for being constructive in your next reply.

So much wrong here.OP said:Is D&DI worth it for you and your game?

7- Why? I have said it in both posts, but will repeat again. I do not need everything published to play the game. I am not a munchkin.
I respect your points of view up until this one. Wanting/needing everything published has nothing to do with being a munchkin. In fact, I will warrant a wild guess and say that most of those who buy everything are not players, but DM's, and thus not munchkins.
Let's not get the terms confused here, and have this thread go down in flames.
