Question on a Magical Exploit

I was just curious as to why Spellblaster would take 8 endurance? Is it to balance it? Also why wouldn't it be logic?

Different magical exploits require different attributes. Spellblaster is an evocation type thing, which requires being able to handle raw energy.

OK cool, sounds like it makes sense. Now does the firemages firebolt exploit count as an evocation spell? Since it uses the evocation skill?

The firemage's firebolt exploit is not a spell.
