Question on Righteous Fury (Spell Treasury)

The spell's duration is 1/minute per level. It grants temp HP and a bonus to strength. The spell also mentions that the temp hitpoints can last for up to a hour. Seeing as I don't think its actually possible to get a 1/minute level PALADIN spell to get up to an hour duration, does that mean the temp hitpoints will last an hour while the strength while drop after 1 minute/level?

That seems to make the most sense. If the spell specifically says the hit points last 1 hour, then go by the wording in the spell. Any effects that do not have a specific time listed should end when the spell ends.

Another interesting question, if you are the subject of a dispel magic that successfully dispells the Righteous Fury, do you lose the hit points?

How very odd. I checked the spell from MaoF, and it had a duration of 1 round/level, but no mention of the hit points lasting longer than that. I half expected a longer duration, like 10 minutes/level, or something. I guess they just last an hour, since it explicitly states so. That's par for temp hit points anyway, isn't it?

Initially, I assumed so, and I'm still included to say yes, just to keep things simple. The idea that a spell could have a limited duration yet longer last effects that keep going after the spell expires is just odd. I can't think of another situation like this.
