Question on the Environmental Suit

If a PC is wearing an environmental suit what is the impact to damage?

Environmental suit Environmental suits protect the wearer from extremes of temperature, toxicenvironments, radiation, and more. The suit regulates the wearer's temperature to a comfortablelevel and provides breathable atmospheric support. The suit is suitable for hazardous planetaryenvironments, underwater, and deep space.

If an ice dragon uses its cold breath or a fire dragon uses its heat breath on a character wearing such a suit are they immune to it? Resistant to it? No protection? Just how 'extreme' can the temperature be?

Also, does the suit offer protection indefinitely or is there a time limit based on available oxygen or the like?

Fixing to send the PCs to a cold planet with a breathable atmosphere where they will likely fight enemies that do cold damage. They all have environment suits though so this will probably come up.

It has SOAK 4 (on page 160 of N.E.W.) It protects indefinitely from environmental temperatures; and against attacks (including cold or heat) it has SOAK 4.

So you can wander round an arctic planet or a volcanic planet without keeling over, but when someone shoots you with a laser or a cryo weapon (or a cold breath weapon, or hits you with an axe) it gives you SOAK 4.
