question regarding vampiric touch...

vampiric touch dissipates after one use right? regardless of how many attacks you have? so you can't use it every round unless you cast it every round?

They are both useful, depending on the character. If you are a front line fighter needing the healing, Claws of the Vampire can be much better. If you are a wizard who will cast and then charge in to finish the guy off, Vampiric Touch is better.

But can you say "wand of vampiric touch"? nasty, nasty, nasty!
