Circuit City has this DVD on sale for $8.99 this week. I haven't seen this film yet, and was planning on going out and buying this DVD today, but the reviews I've read online were pretty bad - not reviews of the movie itself, but reviews on the Buena Vista Home DVD transfer quality and presentation.
1) Does anyone have this version of Hero on DVD, and if so, is the film transfer really bad, or is it decent enough?
2) Has anyone heard of any plans for the release of any type of special edition DVD for this film, or is this Buena Vista version the only one we'll see anytime soon, excluding imports?
