12. Will the other setting finalists ever see the light of day? If they've been raided for parts for Eberron, how about just telling us what they were finally?
Repeated for emphasis.

16. Why isn't there a goshdarned Greyhawk setting hardcover book for those of us who aren't interested in Living Greyhawk but like the setting?

7. Why won't you allow Paizo to update the rakasta?

That one I can answer. We probably COULD update the rakasta if we wanted, and/or if we got in an article that did so well. For the Savage Tide version of the Isle of Dread, we just didn't have room to add One More New Race to the adventure. The rakasta are mentioned here and there, but their time has passed on the Isle of Dread. Partially because having a race of intelligent cat people seemed incongrous to me on an island where mammals are not at the top of the food chain, partially because I personally don't have a big fondness for them, but mostly because we just didn't have the room to tackle adding them in to the magazine. WotC never entered the picture on this one.

Sound reasoning, IMO. The Isle is already almost full to bursting with races and monsters and cultures.

The rakasta moving on to other regions (the lands of the red steel!) works fine for me.

Thanks, James. I wasn't referring just to Savage Tide, although I definitely understand your reasoning for leaving them out (other than as an Easter Egg). This predates Savage Tide, as Mike McArtor seemed to indicate in the past that he wanted to update them (around the time he did the lupins for Winning Races) and WotC wasn't keen on the idea.

17. Why is WoTC so slow to open up new material that they rarely support? Magical Locations, Planar Feats and other mechanics could benefit a ton from intelligent third party design.

18. Why is there such a huge page discrepancy in the 160 and 224 books for a $5.00 increase as opposed to the former 192 to 224 page books?
