Quick question on Epic multiclassing.

I'd focus on getting to Clr10/Wiz10/MT10, personally...I seem to recall hearing that epic MTs don't really give any benefit of increased caster level compared to Clr/Wiz every other level.
Or enter a PrC that can advance either type of spellcasting, like the loremaster. That way, you can advance either type of spellcasting at each level, & get more/new special abilities, & get to class-granted bonus epic feats faster.

Or, you could just HR the mystic theurge (& its related ilk) to advance in spellcasting in epic levels as it does pre-epic. Really, advance only one spellcasting class per level, & only get a bonus feat every 6 levels? Mechanically-speaking, the loremaster has the same former ability but better latter ability (what, every 3 or 4 levels?).

MT has a listed Epic progression in the SRD; it alternates between Arcane and Divine progression, and gives an epic bonus feat every sixth level, unlike the SRD epic Cleric and Wizard, which give a bonus Epic feat every third level. The only reason the Epic MT is useful is that it grants you Epic feats without having to go back and get your qualifying classes up to level 20 to get epic class bonus feats (unless it's house-ruled, of course). An Epic spellcaster would likely be much better off going Wiz 3/Clr 3/ MT 10/Loremaster X - sure, no Epic class bonus feats until 29th (First at Loremaster 13), but at that point, the character could spellcast as Wiz 13/Cleric 26, Wiz 26/Cleric 13, or anything in between.
