Quick question on starting gold

Howdy.. I don't have my DMG here... can anyone tell me how much starting gold a 9th level character gets to spend? I think it was 36,000...

Hey... just noticed something. Starting gold is equal to the min XP for that level.

Why, those clever people at the WotC have done it again!

Actually, it isn't equal to the minimum xp. At lower levels you get minimum xp x .9, then you get equal gold at 9th, and after that you get more gold than min xp.
