Quick question: Psions have no problem with armor?

Weapon and Armor Proficiency: Psions are proficient with the club, dagger, heavy crossbow, light crossbow, quarterstaff, and shortspear. They are not proficient with any type of armor or shield. Armor does not, however, interfere with the manifestation of powers.

So they could wear fullplate and not be bothered basically? (assuming they got proficiency somehow of course)
Or am I missing something, like abilities they wouldn't be able to use anymore?

Assuming you feel its worth three feats to be able to do so, then yes, you can have a psion running around in full plate.

Personally, I've yet to see a psion concept where it made sense or was worth the expediture, but that doesn't mean you don't have one.

On the other hand, a Mithral Chain shirt is the best armor buy for most psions. No check penalty means that proficency doesn't matter, and you get AC on the cheap as opposed to using bracers of armor.

If you plan to never make an attack roll or ride a horse, there´s no problem on wearing it even without proficiency.

Fighter/Egoist would still be interesting, and you get the armor feats for "free". (Even a bonus feat. )

I'd rather get a single level of psychic warrior. Dont fall quite as far behind on pp, get an extra power (low manifestor level, but it is still there if needed!), the feat is psionic, and still get all of the armor profs plus shield. Mainly just miss out on a single hp and a point of BAB. Oh yeah, better skill list too.

or a fighter level, fullplate and tower shield with powers and some improved toughness feat as well... all good
