What would be a good name for a Magic Maul (only +1, but it will attain greatness later) possessed by a character with a "Judge Dredd" temperament?

Either that, or something innocuous like Bailiff. "Well, if you want out of the charges, you'll have to speak with the Bailiff."

Also, Lawgiver sounds too soft. Lawbringer, maybe. You aren't giving them the law in a nice, gingerly fashion. You're bringing it to them. Forcefully. With malice and death.

The obvious comparison is to a judge's Gavel.

Law is another simple but evocative choice with several possible battlecries; "It's time to lay down the Law!", "You can't escape the long arm of the Law!"

As others suggested, Justice is also a strong choice; "And Justice for All!"

I was just about to suggest The Gavel or ______'s Gavel, where _____ is the name of a campaign-appropriate god of justice.
