[Quick review] I want to snuggle my new 4e Battlebox. Is that so wrong?

Piratecat, you jerk! How dare you have your battle box already, Mine's still a week
Sadly they dont ship outside of the US/Canada.

*sadface*
Check this thread. From what I can tell, it seems like their store isn't set up for non us/can customers, but that they might be able to ship to you anyway, or at least point you towards a distributor in your area that carries their products.

I am still hoping that eventually DDI will have a token-sheet maker.
I think the chances of that happening are pretty slim, given that such a thing would compete not only with WotC's D&D Miniatures but also with their virtual game table (assuming they ever complete it).

So, you should just order the Battlebox + Counter Collection from Fiery Dragon. I did!

Pics of them in use would be really nice. I can't imagine how the marks and conditions are used, for instance.

Condition markers (those of you who have it: some conditions have an asterisk, denoting Combat Advantage!):

Piratecat:
I'm reeee(...)eeeally glad you liked the BattleBox and the Counter Collection 4e. I'm very proud of how these turned out, and I hope CC4e Paragon 1 and Epic 1 do as well as them.

Man... the more pictures I see of this thing, the more I realize I will soon be out 40 bux. :)

Hey Klaus or PCat- Can either of you tell me how many tags of each condition you get? I'm assuming more then 1 as it's obviously possible for more then 1 person to have the same effect.

Scribble, I think it's 13 conditions x 4 of each = 52 tags. I'm trying 'em out tonight.

Thanks Pcat! Let me know how it works out... I'm trying to think of the largest amount of people Ive seen with the same condition at the same time is in my games. I don't actually think it's been ore then 4 though... so cool.

My group has used Paizo's combat pad and a separate white board from our white board grid. The separate white board has worked best for us.

It's big enough to write conditions on either side of the monster's/character's name. One side is labelled "Save Ends" and the other side is labelled "Until the End of Next Turn" with a line to whose turn it references.

It works very well.

Yeah, the Paizo pad fell flat, but that sounds excellent.

I just received my Battlebox in the mail yesterday and eagerly punched everything out. I love the fact that it's a sturdy, old-school boxed set box (especially since I'm able to throw my Alea Tools magnets in there too). I might start using the action point tokens and the magic item usage tokens too, and the rest I'm still figuring out. It's a great product though, especially for those who don't want to buy a lot of miniatures and dungeon tiles.
