Quickdrawing from a haversack

As mentioned it can't be Huge, then it would have to fail two DC 15 reflex saves (in a row). The first failed reflex save entangles it, the second save makes it fall. Personally I think it's worth it, droping it's attacks, AC and reflex saves by two is worth it. If it falls, that's just icing on the cake.

Actually, it is automatically entangled even if it doesn't fail a Reflex save. It has to make a save to avoid a) being stuck to the ground if it doesn't fly, or b) having its wings bound so it crashes if it does fly.

I'd allow you to QD them from your belt, or remove a handfull of them from the haversack for later use with QD, but as others have stated above, HHH is the limiting factor here.

It doesn't matter how fast your car is if you are stuck in traffic.

Provided they were all stored together in one bag so they could be retrieved as a single item. After that, you'd have to decide if QD applied to getting them out of the sack.

I meant, I'd let someone hold a handfull of them in their off hand and throw/draw with their on hand using QD.

Replace "haversack" in my original post with "container", I wasn't being specific.

They're pretty large, going by the PHB picture of them. I'd say one of them is a handful.

I can't really tell anything from the illustration (a ring takes up half a square TFB takes up a square and a half), but the table says it weighs 4 pounds, so you're right, they are a little bigger than I thought.

I'd still allow it. It's easy enough to hold them between your fingers, with the knot in your hand and the bag hanging down. If you spend the action to have them out and 'at the ready', that'd be good enough for me.

It's not like I use everything from the PHB as gospel. :D

Hmm I'd allow QD with Tanglefoot bags but not from the HHH. So I guess I agree with what they said :)

What about a bandoleer or summat like that to hang your tanglefoot bags from.

Also I'm with MarkB, I'd say that you couldn't carry any more than 2 (maybe 3) in one hand - they are pretty big.

Happy gaming.

[As a DM I love this tactic, I'm about to run RHoD and lord knows my grou paren't tactically astute enought to figure this idea out... sukkas]
