Quickened spells and components?

I dimly recall seeing somewhere that Quickened spells do not require components. Or maybe my brain is totally looping. I can't picture how a Quickened V, S, M spell would work.

Am I one card short of a full deck, or is this written somewhere? I can't find it...

A Quickened spell has the same components; they're just quicker.

Retrieving a material component is already a free action. The incantations and gestures are simply made more efficient so they fit into a free action instead of a standard action.

But you still suffer arcane failure for somatic components, need a free hand, and can't cast in a grapple.

You still can't use verbal components while Silenced, and suffer a failure chance if you're deaf.

You still need the material components in hand if you're grappled.

OK, so there's 51 cards in my deck. :)

Good thing too, I was wondering if Automatic Still Spell and Automatic Silent Spell would have been made obsolete by Automatic Quicken Spell if Quickened spells had no components.

As a side note, playing a 28th level Wizard, Automatic Quicken + Multispell rocks the house... The power curve really does go exponential. End of campaign soon, anyway.

Thanks, Oh Axiomatic Blue Fey. :)
