Quickest Prestige Class possible ?

MEG's Mystic Warriors has one that a human fighter can qualify for at second level I believe. It's called warrior soldier or something like that. IIRC its prereqs are +1 BAB and two feats, one of which is a fighter bonus feat.

Both the 'Tainted Spellcaster' as the 'Tainted Warrior' can be taken at 3rd level (both are from Dragon #302).
The Arachnemancer can also be taken at 3rd level (Arachnemancer is found in Dungeon #84 and has an errata/update in #85).

All three are 3.0 by the way.

Wheel of Time: Wolfbrother.

If you accept an accelerated descent into madness, a Woodsman (2) can qualify for Wolfbrother as their third character level.

This ispossible because the Wolfbrother PrC specifically allows you to take it and not have certain of the prerequisites, in return for having a higher initial madness rating -- for each +1d6 madness you accept, you can omit a single prerequisite, up to +3d6 madness.

You take extra madness to meet one or two feats, and a skill or two with ranks >5 to qualify. Poof, a Woodsman(2) meets theprerequisites.

Forsaker

shoot. ;)

i was thinking one of them had to be on the list.
If you play in Kingdoms of Kalamar, then Lightning Reflexes is on the Fighter Bonus feat list (KPG 33), letting a human fighter nab the Forsaker at 3rd level.

Wouldn't it be available at 2nd level then?

1st Level Feat - Iron Will
Human Bonus Feat - Great Fortitude
Fighter Bonus Feat - Lightning Reflexes

So by 2nd level you have all the prereqs...unless I'm missing something.

Woops, I meant 2nd. Yep.
I'll put down the crackpipe now. :)

Other than that, the Forsaker can be attained pretty quickly, since the prerequisites are Iron WIll, Lightning Reflexes and Great Fortitude (so a human can get into that class at level 4).

AR

I don't have the Forsaker in front of me - can a cleric become one? If so:

Human cleric of Moradin,
Dwarf Domain (free Great Fortitude feat)
1st level feat: Iron Will
human bonus feat: Lightning Reflexes.

Forsaker at 2nd level.

Demonologist from Demonology: the Dark Road from Mongoose can be taken at 2nd level. Its prerequisites are Spell Mastery and knowledge of Draconic.

Ah, but you cannot be a Cleric of a Racial Deity unless you are of that race.

Anyway, I'd like to point out that you CAN take a Prestige Class at the level you gain a feat- as long as the feat is gained from pure levels, not a class bonus feat. The reason for this is because when you level up, you FIRST choose what class you're going to be, THEN you gain the skill points and class abilities for that class. For example, if you need a feat or skill ranks for a Prestige Class, and the class allows you to get the skills and/or feat at 4th level, you cannot take the Prestige Class until 5th level, since you had to take the 4th level of the class in order to get the skill points and feat in the first place. However, if you get the feat due to levels (like the feats you get at 3rd, 6th, 9th, and so on), you can choose to get the feat before or after you actually choose what class you're going to be- so if you need the Great Fortitude feat for a Prestige Class, and you're 5th level, you can gain the Great Fortitude feat upon achieving 6th level, and take the Prestige Class as your 6th level class.
