good call on the lesser confusion. :)

Spell-Like Abilities: 1/day - hypnotic pattern (DC 12+Cha), lesser confusion (DC 11+Cha), levitate, shatter (DC 12+Cha), ventriloquism (DC 11+Cha). Caster level Xth. The save DCs are Charisma-based.

The SLAs look good.

I'm not surpised by the CR/LA. I was figuring a possible double-digit LA once all is said and done.
 

i'm imagining ours won't be terribly far off from that!

now, i was thinking about ability scores. we've decided the Dex will be a minimum of 22. the Int would be around 15-16 based on old sources. i wouldn't feel the least bit bad if the other scores were low, because this little guy has so much going for him already. ;) but they should at least be high enough to make sense without going over the top...
 

Looking at the elder redcap: Str 22, Dex 21, Con 22, Int 11, Wis 12, Cha 13, we could probably use the Wis and Cha for inspiration.

Str should probably be about comparable to a pixie (Str 7).

Con should range from 11-13, IMO.
 

Str 7, Dex 22+, Con 12, Int 15-16, Wis 12, Cha 13? maybe Cha 14-15 to give it better spell DCs?
 


right, which is why i wouldn't want to make it higher than 14. ;) i think Int 15 is best. how high do you want to go with the Dex?
 

Looking to another speedster, a cheetah is Dex 19. If we were to downsize a cheetah to Tiny, we'd get Dex 23. I'd say bump it up to 24-25 just for good measure to really emphasize its supernatural quickness.
 

i can't drive 55, but a quickling will have a 25!
