Now, this description of my friend's next Werewolf character didn't happen at the game table. Rather, we were in a subway station. I think a few people gave him funny looks after that.

Ok, I'd really like to know the story behind that one.

Let's see, the PCs were chasing an enemy spellcaster, who flew up a vertical shaft and started pulling out fuzzy blobs from his bag of tricks and dropping them behind them. Justaine, a PC cleric, was standing immediately under the shaft thinking of a way how to follow the enemy when the first fuzzy blob turned into a goat. Hence, "Justaine, you take 8 points of falling goat damage."

Were they random creatures or all goats?

Random. With the bag of tricks, you roll on a table to see what animal you pull out of the bag. The first one just happened to be a goat, and Justaine - after taking his initial 8 points of falling goat damage - managed to crawl out of range before any other random animals were dropped on him.

Any odd/funny quotes from your game?

when the group was about 3rd level they encountered a bunch of bugbears training for war. They decided to attack (don't ask) and one player cried out- "KIll the MF!". Suddenly in a quiet squeaky voice I hear my 3 year old say " Yeah- kill the MF!"

Everyone frooze and did their best not to laugh and we had a time out to allow me to talk to my son about adult language (before he said it innocently in front of the mother ).

I will never forget it.

After decimating the population of the town that they were trying to save. The Townspeople threw the PCs a victory banquet to celebrate their unfied defeat of the Goblins. The Paladin uttered: "Here we sit with our flowers and our shame."
