R1: Hired Hands (nimisgod judging)

Ragnikyr pulls back the blanket obscuring the bound gnoll. "This... thing... attacked us in the middle of the night as we were travelling here, along with two of its friends. They meant to kill us, no doubt about it. The other two are dead, but this one survived. Surely the roads are safer, if not safe, without them."

OOC: Everyone must have had a busy weekend...

Cheers,
Roger

Revealing the gnoll draws the rest of the guards over to you. The first guard addresses you again as the others take the gnoll away. "Gnolls eh? Haven't seen much of them lately. Good for you on the capture. Don't bother yourself with the punishment, he will be judged fairly then sentenced accordingly." He motions for you to continue into the city. On the inside the gate, you see no sign of where the guards took the gnoll.

"That went well enough, we should get as much done as possible before we sleep tonight, so we can leave as early as the sun allows"

OOC:[sblock] Hi guys, I'm back, I've got a lot to do, but I'll be hanging around all night[/sblock]

Ragnikyr sighs. "A noble sentiment, but I feel like ten pounds of chopped orc in a five-pound sack. A hot meal and a warm bed will fix that right up, I've no doubt. Surely our little situation can wait just one more day?"

OOC: I've got 1 hp left out of 6, so I've felt better. Heal up a bit, maybe get some healing from our young cleric, then run around tomorrow Gathering Information and such. But that's just my two bits -- if y'all want to carouse around, don't let me stop you.

Cheers,
Roger

"I understand your position, and perhaps it's just me that the deadline puts on edge. I will look into procuring healing magics from the local priests, all are of course free to join me. How does everyone else feel about it?"

"There are still several hours of day left"

"Good luck." Tor tells the Gnoll. "I expect they'll treat you more gently than you would have treated us. Perhaps it will even do you some good, eh?"

Tor stays with the rest of the party, willing to get some rest and on guard in this strange new place.

OOC: Sorry. I've been pulled away. I understand I haven't been very active. Dungannon, feel free to do whatever you wish with Kerrz. Play him out, or murder him viciously. I'll pick up the pieces when I get back.

Here's a more thorough explanation: http://www.enworld.org/showthread.php?t=144235

ooc: Two weeks isn't terribly long in play by post, he could probably just go scouting around and happen to return whenever the player gets back. Up to Dungannon, of course, but I vote against "murder him viciously" for whatever it is worth.
