Tor dismounts the wagon and rushes forward to cut off the fleeing gnome with his chain at the ready.

Otto takes one look at Fimble staring in the window and follows his boss out the other side of the wagon, fleeing to the North.

Gideon will draw his silver longsword and move to assist Tor with blocking in Drezel.
ooc: Are you making a double move like Tor or a regular move? I need to know to make sure the map is accurate. It's Fimble's action now.

Fimble McGee, Gnome Illusionist

Fimble curses and runs around the carriage's south side. He shouts to Drezel, "Good gnome, don't flee, we're only trying to help you!" He adds some magical influence to his words, of course.

OOC: Charm person on Drezel.

Babette moves to the square just left of Gideon and casts Grease at Otto (10' diameter, centered on the NW corner of Otto's square). "Leave Drezel to the others. I need help taking down Otto. And be careful, its slick over there."

Grease: REF save DC 14
Duration 2 rounds
[sblock=SRD]Grease
Conjuration (Creation)
Level: Brd 1, Sor/Wiz 1
Components: V, S, M
Casting Time: 1 standard action
Range: Close (25 ft. + 5 ft./2 levels)
Target or Area: One object or a 10-ft. square
Duration: 1 round/level (D)
Saving Throw: See text
Spell Resistance: No

A grease spell covers a solid surface with a layer of slippery grease. Any creature in the area when the spell is cast must make a successful Reflex save or fall. This save is repeated on your turn each round that the creature remains within the area. A creature can walk within or through the area of grease at half normal speed with a DC 10 Balance check. Failure means it can’t move that round (and must then make a Reflex save or fall), while failure by 5 or more means it falls (see the Balance skill for details).

The spell can also be used to create a greasy coating on an item. Material objects not in use are always affected by this spell, while an object wielded or employed by a creature receives a Reflex saving throw to avoid the effect. If the initial saving throw fails, the creature immediately drops the item. A saving throw must be made in each round that the creature attempts to pick up or use the greased item. A creature wearing greased armor or clothing gains a +10 circumstance bonus on Escape Artist checks and on grapple checks made to resist or escape a grapple or to escape a pin. [/sblock]

OOC: Dungannon, Gideon made a single move.

Assuming that Babette was speaking to him, Gideon nods to her and turns his focus to Otto.

OOC: Gideon will pursue Otto at his highest speed. If he gets within striking distance of Otto, he'll drop his sword and attempt to grapple him. +4 to hit for the touch attack, and +8 to his grapple check.

Fimble moves around the carriage and attempts to talk Drezel into stopping, but there is no effect that he can see.

ooc: Heckler, Babette can't quite make it to where you want her, that would take a move of 35'. And even there the area you want to Grease is just out of range.

ooc: I can make it in 30. Move diagonally NE 3 squares (5, 15, 20) then East 2 squares (25, 30). Pull Grease back 5 feet so its in range (35') even though it puts a greased square between Otto and Gideon.

ooc: You're right, I counted wrong. :o

Babette moves up next to Fimble & Gideon and throws a spell toward Otto to slow him down. The ground around the fleeing rogue becomes coated in a thick film of grease.
