R2: Rats in a Maze [Manzanita judging]

Fimble McGee, Gnome Illusionist

As the carriage approaches, Fimble cranes his neck, trying to get a look at the occupants of the broken vehicle. He also looks ahead, specifically looking for a small sized figure moving toward the docks.

Likewise.

The party scans the carriage and the road ahead. Nothing is moving on the road, and the curtains are drawn on the windows of the carriage, denying a view of the interior. The first wagon is just past the carriage now, the second one about to pull even with it.

Fimble looks at Tor, shrugs, and hops out of the moving carriage before anybody can protest. He dashes up to the broken carriage, quiet on his feet, and throws the curtain aside. If he recognizes the occupant as Otto or Drezel, he'll be casting a spell next "round".

Fimble stumbles slightly as he jumps from the moving wagon, but manages to remain on his feet. He dashes up to the carriage as Gideon tells his wagon to hold up so he can get down as well. The two carriagemen stare at the gnome as he starts to climb up on the sideboard. Just then the curtain is drawn back and a head sticks out. "How much longer...YOU!!" It's Otto.

ooc: Initiative time. Fimble is on the sideboard of the carriage, both wagons have stopped and Gideon and Babette have just climbed down from theirs.

Even though he knew the occupants were Otto and Drezel, Fimble is still very surprised (1d20+3=4) when Otto pops his head out of the carriage. So surprised, he almost falls off the side step of the carriage.

OOC: Alright! Got the crappy rolls out of the way at the beginning. Now, according to the laws of probability, there's no way we can all roll such crappy numbers for the rest of this battle!
