Dak looks at Metrius. "And just where do you propose we have this discussion?"

"I'm sure the merchants association would make escellent hosts."

Gideon stands quiet and still, the apparent violence he seemed intent on causing now just a memory. His breathing evens out, and he stares hard at Dak, a look of contempt on his face.

At Tor's suggestion of speaking at the merchant's association, he simply nods.

Dak laughs at Tor's suggestion. "Hah! Like they can be trusted to be impartial. Don't you realize it yet? You're just hired pawns, once they're done with you they'll cast you aside like yesterday's trash. You'll forgive me if I have no desire to accompany you to the Council House. Tell me again, what crimes are you accusing me of, and what proof do you have?"

This is definitely not the same shy demeanor Dak exhibited at Travers' ranch.

"You mistake my position for one of negotiation. You have a count of ten to surrender, or I will settle for taking your unconcious body to our employers for questioning. We have observed significant irregularities in your behaviors and associations, and you can respond to them when we're in a calmer environment. One...."

"Come, Tor, I am sure a discussion at the local ale house will be sufficient to start with. And that will give you," he nods to Dak, " sufficient opportunity to your presence at the scenes we have attended. Come, I will buy the drinks, I am sure that this can be resolved without any recourse for violence. I recall your attempt at bringing previous people in 'unconcious', and I am sure there is no need for our friend here to suffer so."

Tor continues to count. If he gets to nine, he will attack taking a -4 penalty in order to do nonlethal damage.

(Yes, he did *say* a ten count...)

Dak turns to Metrius. "Ah, finally, a voice of reason." He looks meaningfully at Tor and Gideon before continuing. "If you could call off your associates I will willingly accompany you to the alehouse of your choosing for a more civilized conversation." He takes a small step towards the cleric. "Who knows, I may even be able to assist you in your misguided adventure."
