R2: Rats in a Maze [Manzanita judging]

Tor would be more than happy to go down the alley, but waits for the spellcasters to decide on a specific tactic. He's got his chain at the ready.

[sblock=OOC]I've just been looking over Tor's character sheet, and it seems to be screwed up -- might have been due to the server crash, as I think I had to reconstruct the level up to 4th. By my count, Tor ought to have 5 feats: One from being human, one from 1st level, one frm 3rd level, and two from fighter levels. He only has four listed. I think the missing feat is Combat Expertise... I'm pretty sure I had taken that with the intention of eventually getting Improved Trip.

I'll e-mail the character judges before I do a correction... unless anyone can point out something I am missing?[/sblock]

"Any suggestions, fellows, or should we just spring whatever trap this is? Allways assuming, of course, there is somewhere a villain so bold or foolish as to be willing to meet us in combat..."

Fimble McGee, Gnome Illusionist

"Er, pardon, but I'm a bit confused. Metrius, is the rat behind us or ahead of us? I thought it was following us, not the other way around. If it's following us, then I can cast an illusion over Tor and Gideon as they duck into an alley, and then when the stalker passes by them, they can jump out and catch it by surprise. But if it's ahead of us, then we're better off using my spells to create a different illusion, or save them for a more appropriate occasion."

"I'd prefer a straight fight to all this sneaking around"

"Oh, ^&*# yes." Tor agrees.

He heads into the alley hoping to find trouble without waiting any longer.

Edit: Oops, Rae got a post in in front of me. He can stop Tor if he likes.

Fimble McGee, Gnome Illusionist

Fimble looks a bit flabbergasted but he rolls with it. As Tor and Gideon rush into the alley, Fimble scurries after, a close distance behind, muttering "Right, into the trap we go."

EDIT: Nevermind, let's do this. Leroy Jenkins!
