Only a couple of these I don't really like... And the Gnome is getting it in the neck form me...

I never really saw any point with the half-orc. Its an archetype I do not want to encourage in my game - way to many chaotic-evil-wannabees. And I think it is poorly implemented in 4E.

I think the gnome's actually kinda funny. I certainly like it more than the eladrin or half-XX races.

I'm voting Eladrin; these guys don't look to add much to the racial palette remaining to me. I don't mind elven-variants per se, but even the half-elf has a more distinctive identity to me.

Oh, and I absolutely hate the name. What's up with that anyhow? I mean, if they want to make high elves or grey elves or whatever - just call em that. They're totally flavored as an elven variant anyhow.

I am voting Eladrins off because they think they are so awesome. And also because I think that teleportation powers should have been held off until paragon tier. And because an eladrin stole my bicycle. Why do you even need a bicycle, eladrin?!?!?

I recall one dude like that from a former group. Chaotic Neutral with a tendency towards Neutral Evil.

But I've also seen the "Noble Warrior Race Guy" stereotype enacted using a half-orc, and that's fine.

Why on earth has the halfling lasted so long? Unbelievable. Mechanically rubbish, boring, and to top it off, small. I'd rather play as any other race. Are people basing their votes on the races they like from the Lord of the Rings, or what?

This is going to end up as boringly as the class poll: Fighter, Rogue, Wizard; Dwarf, Elf, Halfling... not impressed.

Half-elf gets my vote again. Elf or human, not some half-assed, half breed. Apologies to Eric's gran for bad language.

Sorry to mention this, but the character on your avatar... isn't he a half-dwarf from Dark Sun, or a Half-giant... something 'half' anyway... correct me if I'm wrong. If it's 'half' things you dislike, why not the 'half'ling... which isn't even half anything or anything else... it's just half (or is it half ling....?)!!!!
