I am so proud of the gnome of lasting this long.

He's got no chance now, lair or no lair.

But if we are culling the small, its the shoe wearing hobits that should get the, er, boot.

Sorry to mention this, but the character on your avatar... isn't he a half-dwarf from Dark Sun, or a Half-giant... something 'half' anyway... correct me if I'm wrong. If it's 'half' things you dislike, why not the 'half'ling... which isn't even half anything or anything else... it's just half (or is it half ling....?)!!!!

I picked that picture just because he looked like a nasty piece of work. I actually quite like half-orcs, although looks like they are going out too. Half-lings can go next. Then it looks like it's going to be a fight between the elf and dwarf for top spot. Dorfs FTW!

These posts could also be called "Vote for the most flavorful race, and leave the oatmeal behind!"

Not a lot of flavor left, and it looks like the best of it is getting the boot (gnomes ooze flavor, half orcs ooze. . .something else).

Jay

PS - I voted elves. Spur of the moment, and I don't know why. It is all pretty bland at this point.

You'd like the mechanics of a half-orc if you were a barbarian or a fighter, but if you want a half-orc who was banished from his tribe for studying magic and forsook (forsaked?) weapons as representations of a feral beasts claws, preferring to use spells only, representing sophistication and a denial of his evil, brutal past? No, you wouldn't like the mechanics then.
