Abother Race Shadin
Origin: Shadin are said to have formed in conjunction with shadow in the beginning of time. Shadin appear on all worlds, for there is shadow on all worlds. Shadow is consist in dimensions and has never faltered. The shadin harness the shadow to due their bidding and teach the unenlightened ones of its greatness. The shadin are also said to have taught the gnomes how to tap into shadow for their illusion magic and the shadin have spread their religion to all peoples and it is increasingly popular with people outside the law, but still has few worshippers in the law.
Personality: Shadin are cunning and show disdain to those who are not at their level of intelligence. They love enlightening others and going into an extended intellectual discussion.
Physical Description: Shadin are small beings with onyx black skin. They have slightly pointed ears with a slightly oversized nose.
Relations: Shadin get along with most intellectual races and especially with gnomes, who are the original pupils of the shadin since the gnomes creation. The shadin taught the gnome mages how to tap into the plane of shadow and the two races live together and are quite friendly towards each other. Shadin do not get along as well with brutes, but will not discriminate based on race and will judge people by their actions. The shadin may go for an easy conversion with a non-intellectual if the shadin recently failed at converting another.
Alignment: Shadin vary in alignment
Reproduction: Shadin reproduce just as other races, but their offspring are never hybrids. An offspring is always a shadin just as shadow is dominant while in the presence of light.
Religion: Shadin believe that the entire shadow of all universes is a being that grants protection to creatures and helps all creatures of the universe. They believe that the shadow does not discriminate and it is the paragon of fairness.
Language: The shadin know common and shadarin. They may have any bonus language except for secret languages.

Base Land Speed: 20ft
Abilities:
+2 dexterity -2 strength: Shadin are very agile due to their small size, but are physically weaker for the same reason. (Note: Shadin are on average more intelligent then other races, but only because they usually are taught as much as academics despite their class. This means they are no smarter, but have greater intellectual conditioning)
+1 to DC of all spells with the shadow descriptor: Shadin are extremely skilled in shadow magic, whether it is true shadow magic or shadow illusions.
+2 bonus to hide checks: Due to their dark pigment, it is hard to spot a Shaidin while hiding.
+2 to saves against shadow magic and -2 to saves against sonic magic: Shadin are used to great shadow spells and learn how to resist them, but using sound, which shadow does not make, is alien to them and they are not good at resisting the effects.
Dark Vision: Shadin are capable in seeing in complete shadow, for they are one with it.
Light Vulnerability: Shadin prefer dim light, but can easily deal with bright light. However, spells that cause sudden brightness cause Shadin to be blinded for 1d3 rounds.
Favored Class: Shadowcaster
