I would like to know if the leaks of information contained within the upcoming "Races & Classes" book by our Hungarian brethren has increased, decreased or not affected your interest in purchasing the first "Wizard's Presents" book.

Originally I was going to post a thread condemning the whole thing (I think the leaks suck), but now I'll just ask if it's made a difference in anyone's purchasing decisions.

Increased. The things genuine interest me... and I want to see artwork. And context. And simply more stuff, simply because I want every tidbit of info... and they're not going to appear here (if they do... that'd mean wholesale copying of the text - not cool, not cool!).

Cheers, LT.

I'm now interested in looking through it. The lack of crunch makes me unlikely to buy it. The new DSG was like that for me too- when I looked at it, I was appalled at how many spoilers it had without a single actual usable adventure. I really would have preferred a DSG more in line with the 1e version, with a massive discussion of underground rules, the Underdark, etc. Then again, I didn't buy Underdark cause it had too much FR content for my taste. :( I really wanted to like it, too. Who knows, I might still get it sometime, especially if I find it cheap or used.

Anyway, I initially thought I'd buy the preview books, but after hearing how little crunch there is (i.e. none), I am now leaning against it. And again, I really wanted to like it.

I'll certainly look it over, though, and I might change my mind.

Not at all interested. Already out of date information, nothing playable, and it will be plastered all over the 'net within days (more than it already is). No need to waste money on that.

On the other hand, the leaks have largely increased my interest in 4E itself.

The leaks have not affected my likelihood of buying the previews books. I've already read the leaks, and I'm not in the market for an artbook.

I know some people who are, however, and I'm sure they'll enjoy it.

I was going to wait for the players handbook before, so it didn't affect me either way.

Actually, I wouldn't have even known the preview book existed if not for the leaks.

Decreased - now that we've started to hear how much material is outdated or possibly outdated, Races & Classes seems like it's only useful for stirring up flame wars.
