Races of Destiny: First Look

As for Races of Destiny, could someone give me an idea of the mechanics behind the Outcast Champion and Scar Enforcer? Obviously you can't post the mechanics verbatim, but an idea of what the class features would be great.

The Outcast Champion is a 5 level PrC based on being a leader of a group of Half-humans. His special abilities are based on boosting his followers abilities, mainly in combat.

One nice thing about this PrC is that it only requires that you be half-human and have 8 skill ranks in either Diplomacy or Intimidate. I like the "multiple paths" to a PrC idea.

The Scar Enforcer is a Half-elf who hates both his heritage races. They get both Humans & Elves as Favored Enemy, sneak attack, smite and can Hide in Full Sight. They also do get "+1 level" every odd level to any one spellcasting class they previously belonged to.
If they did not have any spellcasting classes, I guess they get nothing.

The Loredelver and Shadow Sentinel are both Illumian only PrCs, but there is really no reason why. These would work fine for other races.

The Loredelver is the field version of the Loremaster. One who goes out to get the information and items that he needs.

The Shadow Sentinels are the "special forces" among the Illumians. They protect their race against the Githyanki (whom they have a history with) and others who would destroy their knowledge.

The last is the Menacing Brute, a Half Orc only 5 level PrC based becoming a better survivor.

Thanks Silveras and Dark Psion. The prestige classes are probably what will make or break the purchase for me, so it's great to have some information on what they're like.

I've got a character that would be perfect for the Outcast Champion. Well, not the "hey, I want to fir in with you aspect" but the mechanics would fit him very well. All I have to do is wrap it in a different package. I do find one thing odd about the prestige class, though. You say they have poor will saves, yet they give a will bonus to allies around them? That doesn't seem to make sense. Oh well.

The Scar Enforcer sounds...interesting. When I read in an interview that they were making a prestige class that would give half-elves some martial power, I got excited. Nothing gets me going than someone breaking a stereotype. Unfortunately, I didn't forsee the need to forsake both heritages, though. That will take a little more work to repackage than the Outcast Champion.

One more prestige class for you to look at if you don't mind. The Menacing Brute. I just have a few easy questions. First, I'm assuming it's limited to half-orcs, right? And do the mechanics of the class do anything really noteworthy in comparison to the countless other "me smash things" PrCs out there?

The Menacing Brute gets an Intimidation bonus, Can "find" equipment, Sneak Attack, Better Critical and whenever he finishes off an opponent, that opponent's allies must must make a Will save or cower.
