Absolutely uninspiring. I'll only be getting the Serpent Kingdoms for my long-running FR campaign.

Thanks for the information, Knightfall1972!

*thinks to himself* Hmmm... I wonder if my local gamestore will let me sleep in the back to get first crack at these books since I will be giving them my first born... if I ever GET a first born... Maybe I could borrow someone else's first born...

Thank you for the heads up on these, Knight... My DM and I are going to be poorer because of it :D

Complete Divine, Player's Guide to Faerûn, and Serpent Kingdoms are all on my list, though I'm going to have to throughly examine Complete Divine on a store bookshelf before bringing it home.

I was pleased with Complete Warrior and am glad to have added it to my collection.

The other two, Player's Guide most particularly are must have since I DM in the Forgotten Realms, and anything with Mister Greenwood's name of the cover is going to be owned by me.

Another book about the planes? I was really hoping for something Forgotten Realms specific. I found the FRCS to be lacking in terms of detail about its cosmology and all the properties of the various planes.

Anyone know a good source, hopefully 3rd edition, that goes into more details about the planes in the FR setting?

Thanks KnightFall

Thanks for the info, KnightFall. Even though I run an FR campaign, I doubt I'll be getting Serpent Kingdoms.

I think WotC is getting too specific with their HC books. At least Underdark covered a lot of area under Faerûn. Even The Unapproachable East was too specific, but thankfully that was where my campaign had started.

Hope something more world-encompassing will be coming out soon (besides the Player's Guide).
