Angel Tarragon
Dawn Dragon
If a character has immunity to fire, either by race or by class feature and later becomes a vampire, does the resultant vampire lose/not gain sunlight susceptability?
SRD said:Exposing any vampire to direct sunlight disorients it: It can take only a single move action or attack action and is destroyed utterly in the next round if it cannot escape.
Damn, that's scary. Add some barbarian and frenzied berserker levels to get deathless frenzy to top that off. It's unkillable adventurer-killer.VanRichten said:Sounds like you are wanting to make something really nasty.
How about this: Vampiric Half-Red Dragon Troll with a Ring of Greater Acid Resistance.
Has regeneration so only takes stun damage from anything other than fire or acid.
Is undead so it is immune to stun damage.
Is a half-red dragon so it is immune to fire.
Wears a Ring of Greater Acid Resistance so it reduces all acid damage by 30.
Even if you can do enough damage with acid to hurt it, the creature has Rapid Healing 5 because it is a vampire.

Regeneration doesn't work if you don't have a Con score.
VanRichten said:Where did you find that rule?
System Resource Document said:A creature must have a Constitution score to have the regeneration ability.
