True Regeneration
This ability includes Self Sealing Wounds, Poison Cancellation & Shoring Up of the Mind
If taking on going damage (due to poison or physical or mental injury) you automatically succeed on your save to end the damage this ability will not work if you were damaged by necrotic forces last turn. You heal scar-less of course.
Balance Note: Bleeding wound effects are uncommon enough this ability may not be significant even if it is cool.

Unconscious Healing: if rendered unconscious (or in a trance) you may make self healing checks with an extra charisma mod bonus (as though conscious and with appropriate healing equipment).
Balance Note: If you are a trained healer this largely allows your allies to focus on the battle when you go down. It is rather versatile as the number of things doable/treatable via healing checks is fairly nice.

Extended Youth: as a side effect.. this gives you a longer life span than your base race if your species is already long lived you may find yourself virtually ageless. If this is a racial feature +2 History skill.
Balance Note: Without attacks which induce aging youth effects are cool but quite cosmetic

I'm not sure I would be inclined to take it really. On the theory that if I'm down either my mates are coming for me, or its a TPK situation and it ain't gonna matter. I'd rather take a feat that kept me above zero than one that worked after I'm already down.
 

It does remove the need for them to pull out of the fight to help you... and a heal check is a versatile thing including saving throws for conditions and enabling second winds. I could make it either as though a trained healer or at +2 should I make a second wind provide additional hp? and flavor wise it also allows extended life span and you always heal without scars. I would like it to apply to healing mental effects as well, does normal healing include psychic damage. ;-)

I do want it to be somewhat attractive ... as a racial trait it may be combined with other things so being less than overwhelming might not be so bad.
But I dont want to make the mistake of having it be lame at the same time. I minimized its potence on purpose figuring I might be able to advance it from there ;-) for one thing advanced forms of it include accelerated recovery effects, aka regeneration and agelessness.

Added Self Sealing Wounds - stopping bleeding auto-magically is definitely covered by the concept, and it does give a context for usage before you are actually down!

In some ways I think of this ability as a truer regeneration - it isnt about accelerated energy recovery - its about better ability to knit tissue and stop wounds. AER would actually go well with it... but is separable.
