Rage & Marshal's Auras?

Can a character with the Marshal class (Miniatures Handbook, pp.11-13) use his auras while raging? Does raging dismiss an aura? The normal conditions for dismissal are if the marshal is dazed, unconscious, stunned, paralyzed, or otherwise unable to be heard or understood by his allies.

I don't see anything explicitly preventing the use of auras while raging, but it does seem questionable considering the restrictions of rage...

Rage (Ex): While raging, a barbarian cannot use any Charisma-, Dexterity-, or Intelligence-based skills (except for Balance, Escape Artist, Intimidate, and Ride), the Concentration skill, or any abilities that require patience or concentration, nor can he cast spells or activate magic items that require a command word, a spell trigger (such as a wand), or spell completion (such as a scroll) to function. He can use any feat he has except Combat Expertise, item creation feats, and metamagic feats.

As I understand it, only the activation of auras require any thought or speech, not keeping it active, though there are many others who would disagree with me.

mechanically: raging is not on the list that stops auras.

cinematically: they can hear your blood-thirsty scream and are inspired

from a cinematic point of view, frenzied berserker is a good roleplaying path.

As far as encouraging one's allies to greater efforts in battle, beating the tar out of the foe would seem to be an excellent example to follow.

Marshal seems nicely complimentary. No problem there.
