And funded, too! We're pleased to announce that our Kickstarter campaign for The Dwarven Smith's Tome, the fifth of our Places by the Way series of location/adventure modules for D&D 5E is now live — and it funded almost exactly 24 hours after its debut!

The Dwarven Smith's Tome describes a village of (mostly) dwarves whose leading resident is a master weapon smith who has set down his trade secrets, to make in sure in the short term that he doesn't forget anything important, and in the long term to pass on his knowledge to future generations. It gives your party the chance to pick up some cool weapons on the way to their next big encounter, and to solve a mystery when this important book goes missing.

This campaign may be funded, but there's still plenty of room on the bandwagon for more backers! Our Kickstarter for Places by the Way #5: The Dwarven Smith's Tome has been a great success so far, in large part to backers who have just discovered the series. Some of them requested a reward option for catching on the first four Places by the Way modules. To accommodate them, we've added three new rewards: One includes PDF copies of the Kickstarter Limited Editions of Places by the Way #1-5; another caters to those who want print copies, includes an omnibus edition combining Places by the Way #1-4 into a single volume and a print copy of The Dwarven Smith's Tome (both items autographed by author Douglas Sun, of course); and the third reward combines the other two — for those who like electrons and dead trees equally.
