RANDOM ADVENTURE IDEAS-- Help us pick a winner!

Based on the title and description, which adventure are you most likely to buy?

Btw, the Door to Madness bit was inspired by the "Gateway to Psychosis" location mini from Dreamblade. I've been dying to use one of those in a D&D game for ages.

There is one deal-breaker of a question that will prevent me from voting until it is answered for each proto-adventure:

What levels are they for?

If it's a D+D adventure, I look at level before *anything* else, as that puts the whole thing in context. Something called "Against the Undead Harlots" (with appropriate description) for levels 1-4 is going to be a *lot* different than if it's for levels 10-13, in any system. :)

One of the things that I found interesting with this little exercise was how little difference the title really made, with respect to the genesis of the adventure-- so I am intrigued by the fact that a purely random title could actually have a purchasing influence.

Half of the synopsis are very attractive...

Personally I have chosen Clockwork Tower of Chaos, because it promises focus to one topic of D&D which IMHO is largely underused (in quantity, but most importantly in quality): TRAPS.

Also I think the titles don't make much difference because they are all the same. Of course that's because they are randomly generated so they follow basically the same structure... But to me calling an adventure "the X of Y Z" or "the X Y of Z" nowadays does the opposite of making is stand out among a million others.

Nah, they'll just be advanced undead. With 5 levels in the new Harlot prestige class.

Here is my tally of the final vote:

FEAST OF THE EBON CITY (Flynn) 9

SHADOWS OF THE DIVINE CITADEL (Whizbang Dustyboots) 12

THE IRON TOWER OF THE SERPENT KING (Wystan) 14

THE CLOCKWORK TOWER OF CHAOS (Morpheus)* 15

SIEGE ON THE SUNLESS PALACE (Rodrigo) 12

THE LOST RUINS OF DREAD (blargney) 5

THE LOST CITY OF THE WHORE QUEEN (Glassjaw) 15

THE ICE MINES OF THE WITCH KING (Asmor) 14

THE TREASURE OF THE FROG SORCERER (Kaodi) 6

Not bad. I'll hopefully improve with the next round, if Wulf decides to run this contest again.

Thanks for running, Wulf,
Flynn
