Random Dungeon encounters (not combat)

First Post
Hi All.
I remember at one time seeing a list of some really cool things that people could find in a dungeon, etc. They were mostly non combat encounters, consisting of items, strange natural occurance, etc. I can't remember if they were in a thread or a dragon mag. Has anyone seen anything like this?
Thanks.

I think what you're describing is generally called "dungeon dressing". There have been articles in Dragon, the 1e DMG had tables for it, AEG's Toolbox has a lot, and there have been several of Wotc's books on dungeons that have addressed the topic.

I usually create "themed" dungeon dressing tables for various dungeon settings (ruined temple, active temple, sewers, old caverns, wet caves, dwarf-ruins, etc...). If you're looking for something particular, I'm sure we can help put something together. Dungeon dressing tables are loads of fun to create.
