Random memory about Thanksgiving.

I just recalled, while reading an article about kids dressing up for Thanksgiving plays, that when I was in elementary school and we were supposed to make costumes for one such play, I went out of my way to make an Indian head-dress with tons more cardboard feathers than anyone else, thinking that if I made the biggest head-dress, I would get to be chief.

I think I had an odd sense of entitlement as a child.
