Ranged AoO's

Are there any feats thet permit attacks of opportunity to be made at range? I have seen one, called Fulisade, and it seems rather powerful, but there have to be others out there? Can anyone help?

Fulisade
General

Prerequisites:
Rogue 10th+
Dexterity 17+
Intelligence 15+
Point-blank shot
Combat Reflexes
Quick Draw

You are a walking arsenal of pointed nastiness.

Benefit:
When using throwing daggers, you threaten an area as if you had a melee weapon with a 15’ reach. You may make attacks of opportunity against opponents in the area according the normal rules governing attacks of opportunity. To use this ability, you must have at least 1 hand free (to retrieve and hurl the dagger).

Special: Use of this feat while in the threatened area of an opponent provokes an attack of opportunity.

PS: I'm not sure where this feat came from. I simply found it on my HD one day. If it belongs to you, let me know, so I can give you credit for it. If you don't want it publisized, let me know, and I'll delete it. Please don't sue me! Hehehh.

The Peerless Archer PrC from the Silver Marches FR suppliment allows ranged AoOs provided the enemy is not adjacant to you or farther than 10' away, so it effectively works the same as a reach weapon.

The Peerless Archer PrC, however, is one of those classes that even the most permissive DM would be uncomfortable letting a player use. :)

*fakes indignance*

But... what's wrong with giving Power Attack at range?

Yeah, I admit, that class is a bit... wrong. Especially with a 3e cleric around for GMW.

I don't think it's overpowered: it's a Rogue-only feat with not little requirement and it works only with throwing knives which are relatively limited in damage, unless you find a way to sneak attack at the same time (now it doesn't come to my mind).

Hmm. Halfling fighter/rogue with Quickdraw... Weapon Specialisation daggers, Point Blank Shot... I don't think he does not enough damage.

Shouldn't the feat be called Fusillade btw???

I don't like the prerequs, it's too easy. All but Combat Reflexes are no brainers for such a dude anyhow. Int 15+ is the only thing that might keep most fighters away :D

The only thing such a guy needs would be some returning daggers (and some more hands to catch them all).

Btw: Could someone enlighten me when returning daggers come back? Next action? Or already after the attack, e.g. one dagger would be enough for no matter how many attacks per round?

Peerless Archer: Ranged Power Attack... it's not just plain wrong. It's silly :D

Just before your next action.

Throwing more than two Returning weapons could be a Bad Thing.

You could always raise your ranks in Profession (juggler) :D

Might be a nice picture IMHO, a guy juggling with 6 daggers, throwing them now and then, they come back... I'd say this would call for concentration checks.

Not really... it teleports back into "the character's empty hand" just before his next round.

If you throw three teleporting daggers, then you only have "empty hands" for two of them...

Not that I think this would EVER come up in my campaign... but if, low and behold, a rogue actually had more than 2 returning weapons, and threw them all in one action...

I don't think I'd penalize him for doing so... I'd allow him to catch all the daggers in one hand if he wanted to. Does "Returning" specify that you must have an emptry hand to catch the weapon?
