Yesterday was a game day- and so that should have ben fun, but things happened that I am not too thrilled about, and then upset about, and then just plain pissed me off...:
I ordered a set of katana, wakizashi, and tanto that were supposed to come in yesterday (as per UPS tracking) and it did not. When I checked online, they did not unload it yet... GRRRRR
- no problem?
My DM came by and said, " I do not have a game written for this adventure, so you gus will be just flopping around today. hope you don't mind..." no problem- we got a lot of administrative work done- and got our weapons and crap fixed....
During the game, a epic wizard says, "to repay you for the hardships that have gone through, i will grant you a wish- anything you like."
I chose to have a contingency- if i die or fall below 0 Hp, teleport me back to my temple (St Cuthbert) and true resurrect me or heal me- whichever is needed. Ten minutes later, i try to cast a spell, cast defensive- rolled a 1. AoO- rolled a 20, confirm, rolled a 20- you take 65 pt of damage- roll for fort save (DC 15) to see if you die from massive damage- i have a fort save of +16- guess what i roll? a 1 dag nabbit...
I was teleported back to the temple- but not resurrected- DM says it was actually 2 contingency spells that I asked- 1)to be teleported, and 2)to be true resurrected, and so he only granted me my first wish. A pidly cleric resurected me witha lvl loss (i just lvl up tp 17- and had lvl 9 spells- and just lost it)
I had to leave early from game because my Science class was going to the beach for a grunion run- I saw none.....
After two hours, I told my professor that I had work in the morning, and so had to go home. I went to collect my stuff (i left on thelifeguard tower) and found my shoes missing... Someone stole my shoes at 2 in the morn...GRRRRRRRRR
I came home and stubbed my toe....which would not have happened if i had my shoes on...
and i only got 4 hours of sleep last night- and found out i have a quiz today that i did not read for yesterday...
Why don't i just lay down and die...
but at least my swords are coming in today.. I hope.
