Is it just me or are those toys pointless, and if I'm not mistaken it's voiced by stan lee. Please! :\

Isn't that fundementally pointless? He could far more easily web sling from the buildings. I know they are childrens toys but I can't help but think that all the creators thought about was making money.

While studiously avoiding actually reading any content in this thread, I have to say that if it refers to the upcoming Spidey 2, the title is a bit uncalled for.

A Venom suit would be considered a SPOILER and shouldn't be in the header. I've been carefully avoiding even Spiderman commercials on TV. I didn't figure that these message boards -- which are usually good about hiding spoilers -- would be an issue.

Sorry if you've already gotten tagged for it or if I'm wrong. Like I said, though, I'm NOT reading this thread.

Doesn't anyone here remember the Matchbox or Hot Wheels Spider-Man cars? I had the Spidey dune buggy and helicopter (which had a spider web instead of a rotor). I think I might still have them, burried away in a box in the basement.

Actually, if I'm not mistaken, the Human Torch made Spidey a dune buggy in the comics (waayyy back in the '60s, I think), so the current toy isn't totally off the mark. Stupid, yes, but not without precedent.
